Canopy by Hilton Midtown
1414 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309
Score: 77/100
We stayed here during a quick trip to pick up my Estee’s wedding dress. The hotel served the purpose for what we needed. I probably wouldn’t stay there again but that is no fault of the hotel. It was just boring. There was nothing spectacular about it. It serves its purpose though and if you are looking for something straightforward with decent rooms and service, this is it.
Room: 89/100
Bedroom
Bed: This was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in that wasn’t a luxury room. The pillows were high quality. My only complaint was the sheets were a little rough.
TV: The TV had the ability to stream netflix and a few other apps and was very easy to use.
Storage: This was the most impressive part of the room. There were well thought out storage spaces everywhere.
Bathroom
Shower/Tub: No tub, but there was a giant shower with good water pressure.
Lighting: Best lighting i have seen in a while at a hotel. Dont see any problem doing your makeup here.
Amenities: Basic everything.
Location: 78/100
Dining Options: There are a few restaurants within walking distrance but nothing to write home about. The nearest coffee shop is a bit of a walk too.
Transportation Options: There is a MARTA station right across the street. Uber is pretty easy to use as well.
Airport Distance: The Airport is about a 20-30min drive away depending on traffic.
Service: 74/100
Housekeeping: Housekeeping never showed up but they did bring towels upon request.
Front Desk: The front desk was friendly but a little imcompitent. Had trouble with my key cards several times.
Valet: Staff was friendly and efficient.
Facilities: 67/100
Gym: The gym was fairly decent for the small space they have. A small selection of freeweights and cardio equipment allow you to get by.
Business Center: It has everything you need but i was also connected to a laud bar which makes calls difficult.
Value: 67/100
Price: $209/night. This seems right on par.
